TEHRAN Referring to the sensitivity of the current situation, the daily Jomhouri Eslami in its editorial wrote Saturday that each faction, despite willingness to maintain unity with other faction, endeavors to pursue its own goals and impose its ideas on the other one. The paper suggested that scholars should not let disagreement turn into conflict or sedition, damaging the society in a variety of ways.

Discrediting distinguished figures who have helped consolidate the Islamic Revolution inflicts a blow to the society, it said. The enemies of Islam intend to launch propaganda campaign so as to materialize their evil objectives and prepare the ground for their future activities. In certain cases the pro-revolution factions themselves provide the enemies with such opportunities. The daily concluded that all should mobilize their energy to wipe out such maladies in the society.

The daily Iran in its commentary wrote that if we admit the fact that law and order stems from man's needs not his will, then rules will develop and people's interests will be protected. The way the relations among people in a society are regulated, legislation and safeguarding people's rights become the main goal of social rules. The daily went on to write that in our society all social rules and regulations are based on Islamic teachings.

Although some traditions have left their impacts on the current laws, we should move towards our true goals and values. People in this country have put behind a history full of ups and downs and all should bear in mind that they are seeking to ease tension in the society.
